Classroom themes are my favorite. Here is some inspiration if you are thinking about doing a camping themed classroom. My students love it every year!
Each student received a “Campground Survival Kit” on the first day! It includes a bookmark, pencil, and smarties.
I decorated my door like a cabin door. The students loved entering their cabin each day!
This table is where we keep our good behavior “Campground Coins.” The kiddos LOVE them because they earn coins throughout the week and get to shop on Fridays. I bought the coins from Oriental Trading magazine. As for prizes, I let them buy coupons to use in the classroom. They are all free ideas so I don’t have to spend money on prizes!
I hot-glued clothespins to the wall for easy work displays! Their writings look great here.
The best thing about this decor is all I needed was bulletin board paper. You can make your classroom cute on a budget!
On the first day of school, we talked about what is needed to have a successful classroom. We discussed things such as caring words, perseverance, helpful hands, responsibility, etc. Each student traced their hands and then wrote one of their ideas on their hand. It turned out super cute!
